ISE 2026: A Month Later, Looking Back at an Extraordinary Week

March 6, 2026

A month has passed since Integrated Systems Europe 2026 closed its doors in Barcelona, yet the momentum of that week is still very much present for the Livesignage team.

For us, the exhibition began with an important moment of recognition. Just as the event was about to start, Livesignage received four awards at the Digital Signage Awards 2026, one of the most respected recognitions in the industry. The awards celebrate projects that push the boundaries of interactive design, management software and data-driven communication within digital signage.

These recognitions celebrated several projects developed with our partners and represent an important milestone in the growth of the Livesignage platform. Starting the week of ISE with four Gold awards set the tone for what followed: a few intense days filled with demonstrations, conversations with partners and system integrators, and the opportunity to showcase our vision of digital signage to an international audience.

With that momentum, we stepped onto the show floor ready to demonstrate what that vision looks like in practice.

Turning the Booth into a Connected Experience

At Hall 4 · Booth 4B700, Livesignage demonstrated how digital signage can go beyond screens and become the orchestration layer of an entire environment.

Inside the stand, displays, lighting and sound were all connected through Livesignage and synchronized in real time. From a dedicated control display, we could trigger coordinated changes across the entire space with a single tap:  switching content on multiple screens, adjusting lighting effects or activating audio to transform the atmosphere of the booth in seconds.

This setup allowed visitors to see how digital signage software can extend far beyond content playback. When displays, devices and environmental elements are connected through a unified platform, signage becomes a powerful tool capable of managing and transforming physical spaces.

To bring this concept to life, the booth featured immersive scenarios powered by sensor integrations and AI-driven content, powered by Gemini from Google. Through the Livesignage platform, these technologies were used to generate dynamic visuals and responsive content in real time.

Visitors were invited to step onto a digital red carpet where the surrounding displays reacted dynamically to their presence, turning the moment into a cinematic entrance. In another experience, guests were transported into a space-themed environment where AI-generated visuals and interactive triggers transformed the displays around them in real time.

These scenarios demonstrated how the integration of digital signage, sensors and artificial intelligence can transform screens into interactive environments capable of responding to people and context.

Collaboration with Global Display Leaders

ISE also provided an opportunity to showcase how Livesignage can power real-world digital signage scenarios in collaboration with leading display manufacturers.

At Philips’ booth, we demonstrated how digital signage can enhance a retail environment by synchronizing content, lighting and sensor-driven interactions. By connecting displays with environmental elements, the experience showed how retailers can create dynamic spaces where visual communication, atmosphere and customer interaction work together in real time.

The result is a more engaging in-store experience, where screens do more than display promotions, they become part of a responsive environment that adapts to people and context.

A different type of experience was presented at Samsung’s booth, where visitors could explore an interactive gamification scenario powered by Livesignage. In this setup, digital signage moved beyond traditional communication and became a playful, participatory experience, inviting users to interact directly with the content displayed on screen.

These collaborations highlighted one of the key strengths of Livesignage: the ability to integrate seamlessly with different hardware ecosystems while enabling innovative and engaging digital experiences across multiple industries.

Looking Ahead

During ISE 2026, one thing became increasingly clear across the industry: digital signage is rapidly evolving from a simple communication tool into a dynamic layer connecting physical spaces, data and interaction. Screens are no longer isolated displays. They are becoming part of responsive environments where content adapts in real time and technology reacts to the presence and behavior of people.

Artificial intelligence is beginning to play a growing role and is a must in this transformation. From generating visuals and automating content creation to enabling more adaptive and contextual experiences, AI is opening new possibilities for how digital environments communicate and respond.

For a few days during ISE, Barcelona turned a little more magenta.

From the experiences inside our booth to collaborations across the show floor, Livesignage left its mark not just with technology, but with a vision of digital signage that connects environments, interaction and intelligence.

And if ISE confirmed anything, it’s that this color isn’t staying in Barcelona. The canvas is expanding and we’re just getting started painting.
