VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association) defines the standard mounting patterns used to attach displays to walls, ceilings, floor stands and arms. VESA mount patterns are specified in millimeters between the four mounting holes on the back of the display — common values include 100×100, 200×200, 400×400, 600×400, and larger formats for big-screen signage.
Standardization matters in signage because installations often involve mixed display generations, vendors, and form factors. With VESA, integrators can plan brackets, totem enclosures, and arm systems against a known pattern, knowing that any compatible display will mount cleanly. Livesignage is hardware-agnostic and works with VESA-mounted displays across every signage scenario — wall, ceiling, kiosk, video wall and totem installations.
